Spinwheels does not undertake any marketing activities to individuals, and as such holds no databases or marketing lists for individuals.

The only data we have available to us is the information on the start sheets sent to us by CTT and other event organisers, who are kind enough to pass on this information. This information is already published on the CTT website, or is available on request from the event organiser directly, and is therefore in the public domain.

We simply further publish this information for relevant local cycling events on Spinwheels.

Under the GDPR rules which came into effect on May 25 2018, the rights of EU citizens to access any data held on them has been strengthened. As previously mentioned, we hold no data on individuals other than that published on the start sheets.

If you would like to question any of the data presented on these start sheets because you feel it is inaccurate, or have any concerns about other data held on you, then you would need to contact the event organiser for the specific event in question, as only they will have the data you sent to them to sign up for the event. If you are not sure who this is, then we are happy to help you if you send your request by email to spinwheels01@btinternet.com.

GDPR covers the processing of information on both a ‘contract’ and ‘consent’ basis. If you have entered into a contract with someone, in this case by paying a fee to an event organiser to enter an event, they are able to deal with your data as required to service your entry to that event.

We at Spinwheels are not involved in that side of information processing, and as a result request all data sent to us by organisers is now limited solely to the start sheet already published and nothing else. Any and all other information if sent in error is deleted from our systems.
