It was a Baptism of Fire (or water) for Roy White starting his first time trial on what was yet another very wet New Years Day 10. Roy was not put off by the conditions returning a very creditable time of 34.54 claiming some very experienced scalps.
Club members Alyson Nye, Jane White, Gary Booth and Bob Burden were there to off Roy support despite the terrible conditions, so it was no surprise that they all retired to the headquarters to join Roy for a chat and a nice hot cup of tea.
